Warden - Three people died when a car collided with a heavy goods vehicle on the N3 in Warden, paramedics said on Sunday.
"Two men and a woman travelling in the car died. A child was critically injured and was rushed to hospital," said ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak.
Three ER24 paramedics returning from holiday in Durban came across the accident and used emergency equipment they had with them, said Vermaak.
The cause of the accident was not known.
