Ficksburg - The bail application of four Ficksburg police constables who allegedly terrorised communities was postponed on Friday after another person had laid a complaint against them.
NPA spokesperson, Phaladi Shuping, says they face 20 charges ranging from assault to kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice.
The case against Samson Pokedi, Johannes Sefatsa, Matthews Radebe and Stephen Molete, part of the group dubbed the ‘Rambo Squad’, came to light in August last year.
Twelve other officers were also arrested last Friday for defeating the ends of justice and were granted bail the same day.
Shuping says no charge has been formally laid relating to this new complaint, as police are still conducting an investigation.
Their bail application resumes next Friday.
