Potchefstroom - Management at Potchefstroom Hospital says patients visiting the facility needn't worry about contracting infectious diseases.
This after the hospital was placed under quarantine overnight after a 72-year old man was admitted with signs of haemorrhagic
fever.

The man has since been transferred to the Klerksdorp/Tshepong Hospital complex for further treatment, and the quarantine placed on the hospital's casualty ward, lifted.
Potchefstroom Hospital CEO Gloria Thlapi says patients shouldn't be wary of visiting the facility.
North West health department spokesperson Tebogo Lekgethwane said earlier the man does not have the Ebola virus.
