Bloemfontein - The Free State Department of Health is satisfied with the services rendered by Buthelezi Ambulance Services.
Spokesperson Mondli Mvambi says having them on board has assisted the province in its quest to reduce infant mortality and death of pregnant women.
He was reacting to Cosatu's recent claim that the province is favouring Buthelezi with the awarding of its contract and remuneration.
The labour federation has also claimed that Buthelezi has not paid some of its employees in recent months.
