Five killed in Bethlehem accident─── 08:12 Tue, 07 Apr 2015

Bethlehem - Five people were killed this morning after their vehicle collided with a truck on the N5 near Bethlehem in the Free Sate.
Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, said paramedics arrived on scene and found the truck and light motor vehicle in the right lane of the road. Both vehicles were on fire. Fire services battle for some time to extinguish both vehicles.
Once the fire was extinguished, paramedics discovered the burned bodies of three males and two females lying trapped inside the light motor vehicle. All five occupants sustained fatal injuries.
The driver of the truck sustained only minor injuries in the collision and was treated on scene.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
