Taxi crashes into heavy grader, 14 injured at Klerksdorp─── 14:55 Fri, 10 Feb 2017
Klerksdorp - A taxi crashed into a heavy grader leaving 14 people injured on the N12 outside Klerksdorp this morning.
ER24 paramedics along with other services arrived on the scene and found the grader and taxi in the middle of the road. Paramedics found several passengers from the taxi walking around on the scene.
According to ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring, all of the injuredpassengers were school children.
Meiring says the 14 teenagers were found to have sustained minor to moderateinjuries.
They were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported tonearby provincial hospitals for further care.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
