OFM NEWS will be keeping you touch throughout the course of the day.

Human trafficking and gender-based violence are some of the pressing issues that will come under the spotlight during the National Women's Day celebrations in the Northern Cape, today.

The National Human Trafficking Resources Line will today also launch a series of initiatives in the province aimed at reducing the increasing number of Women and children who fall prey to human trafficking.

This comes soon after news of a 24-year-old Free State woman who was rescued in Malaysia from an alleged human trafficking syndicate made national headlines.
