No arrests have yet been made in connection with the death of a 64-year-old Lijana Jonn Mofokeng who has been found dead at a farm near Bethlehem.
Police spokesperson, Zweli Mohobeleli, says the body of the 64-year-old was discovered by a woman yesterday who was looking for geese near a dam in the vicinity.
He explains that Mofokeng had been reported missing and was last seen on September, 11.
Mohobeleli says no foul play is suspected and an inquest has been opened. He adds that they are, however, still awaiting the results of a post-mortem.
