Christiana - The cause of the fire which took the lives of four children in the Christiana school for the blind last night is still unknown. Education spokesperson, Paul Ntlaleng says the four boys aged between eight and nine died after inhaling too much smoke. He says the boys are from Potchefstroom, Klerksdorp, De la Reyville, and Mafikeng. The DA earlier expressed concern over indications that the kids were locked in a room and could not flee. Spokesperson John Franzen says the school has been the focus of controversial practices for some time and the DA has on a number of occasions discussed these issues with former MEC for Education Johannes Tselapedi.
