Bloemfontein - Sasolburg police are searching for a man who shot a young woman bystander during an argument at the weekend.
Free State police spokesperson Sellwane Mapamela says 22-year-old Sizakele Mbele was shot in the back while standing outside a venue with friends in the early hours of Sunday Morning.
She says the drivers of two vehicles began arguing over a parking spot.
A shot was fired and Mbele was hit.
Mapamela says police are investigating a case of attempted murder. She says Mbele was transferred to Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein but couldn't provide further details on her condition.
