Kirsty Theologo case: Judgment imminent─── 11:34 Thu, 07 Nov 2013

Johannesburg - The four people accused of killing Johannesburg teenager Kirsty Theologo in a satanic ritual in 2011 will learn their fate today.
The accused have pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, attempted murder and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
However, one of the accused, Lindon Wagner, has admitted to dousing Theologo and her 14-year-old friend with petrol and setting them alight on Linmeyer Hill, where the ritual took place.
The state has suggested Judge Geraldine Borchers convict all of the accused for planning the murder of the 18-year-old.
While Wagner’s lawyer on Wednesday argued that he was not in control of his actions when he committed the murder, other defence lawyers said there wasn’t enough evidence to prove their clients participated in the planning.
Theologo’s mother Sylvia said she wants all four of the accused to rot in jail.
“I don’t hope, I demand that they get life. I demand that what was taken away from my child is taken away from them.”
Judge Borchers is expected to begin handing down her judgment at noon today.
