#BreakingNews: #Hawks raid Saxonwold compound; #Gupta arrested─── 09:11 Wed, 14 Feb 2018
While South Africa is waiting in anticipation for President Jacob Zuma to react to the ANC's National Executive Committee's decision to recall him, one of the Gupta brothers was arrested when the Hawks raided their Saxonwold property this morning.
Hawks spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi, confirms they are in the process of raiding the Saxonworld property of the controversial Gupta family. Police have been deployed to the area to keep curious onlookers and the media at bay.
Mulaudzi says, however, he can't confirm whether members of the Gupta family are at the Johannesburg property.
In the meantime, the news channel eNCA reported that one of the Gupta brothers and a business partner have been arrested. Other family members are currently negotiating with the police to hand themselves over. The matter apparently involves the Vrede Dairy project.
