The OFM News team had the pleasure of interviewing Bowe during the Bloemfontein leg of her South African tour which has been put together and funded by the United States Embassy.

Bowe, who already engaged students and young entrepreneurs in Johannesburg, will be in Bloemfontein till Friday, inspiring others with her incredible story.

In her discussion with OFM News’ Olebogeng Motse at the Central University of Technology this week, she shared parts of her journey from a mediocre high school student, to an aerospace engineer at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa). This is her story.

Should you have any questions for Bowe you can find her @aishabowe on Instagram, @arbowe on Twitter, or you can send her message on her website aishabowe.com

Anyone interested in exchange programmes with the United States can visit the @USEmbassySA on all social media platforms.
