14 Things that men don't get about women

Men and women – sometimes the differences are just way too big. Then, of course, there’s misunderstandings which could lead to some serious unhappiness.

In a post on Reddit’s AskReddit section Allie Cameron asked what it is that guys will never get or understand about the ladies.

Here is a list with what men don’t understand about women, written by the men who don’t understand them:

1. Why if there’s a party on or anything, they need to make sure that no one else is wearing whatever they're wearing, and if they see someone with the same outfit… they just start going "b*tch, I can't believe she did that", man when me and my mates wear the same clothes we high 5 each other and think it’s awesome!

2. Pretending to like people when they hate them. Just be honest and nice. Not that hard.

3. They can’t seem to TALK about what's bothering them, or be honest about what they want.

"No, I'm fine, I don't wanna talk about it." <-- When she wants to talk about it.

"Nothing's wrong. Sad face into the distance" <-- Something is wrong.
"Do whatever you want baby, I don't care." <-- She cares and will get mad about it later.

4. How, if I'm right, she tells me I'm wrong. Then, even if I'm am right, I am wrong. Then, it turns out I was never right to begin with, I was always wrong. Also, how could I bring up something like that? How could I be so inconsiderate? What is wrong with me? It was so obvious how wrong I was. I'm so stupid. I'm sorry.

5. Why is it so hard to pick a place to eat? You have a choice of anything and you just say "I don't care". Then when we pick a place you get mad, because you didn't want it.

6. Why girls usually don't propose first.

7. There's an atom bomb of clutter on the bathroom counter top, literally different days of make-up kits just left around haphazardly on the counter, yet I'm the one who gets yelled at if my toothbrush is left out or the toilet seat is up?

8. Why girls in the workplace never EVER seem to get along with their own gender besides surface level friendships.

9. They go to the bathroom together, which I sort of get, but I've been told that fairly often they use the same cubicle. I don't see the appeal. Why would you want to hear/watch someone pee?

10. Why the single ones always say they are looking for a nice man, but end up with the asshole.

11. Why a bunch of the skinny ones complain that they are fat?

12. Shoe obsession. I realize this probably isn't true for most women, but it is a common stereotype and I've seen this first hand with a couple of my close girlfriends.

13. Why they still need to take 45+ minutes to get ready when they could just be going down the block to pick up the mail.

14. How they get their hair so nice and shiny.

Added: I don't know why they think we can understand them just by looking at their eyes.
