Bok fever is slowly building in the City of Port Elizabeth as the penultimate weekend of the Rugby Championship approaches.

After another two-week break, the Springboks will resume their campaign in the Friendly City against Australia who in their turn will be desperate for another Championship win following their loss to Argentina.

The Boks in their turn will be cautiously optimistic following a historic 36-34 win over New Zealand in Wellington.

According to Bok assistant, Mzwandile Stick, the team will be looking to keep their unbeaten record in a 'special' Port Elizabeth intact.

"If you look at the history from 2009 when we opened the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, the Springboks have not lost a game in PE."

"I have been there on the stands as a supporter, I have been there in the coach's box as a coach, so once again it is a very special place for us as Springboks," Stick said.

The Boks and Wallabies will settle matters on the grass of the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium from 17:05 on Saturday.
