At least 163 more people have died of COVID-19 related complications in South Africa in the last 24 hours.
This brings the total deaths in the country to 52,535.
New cases are up by 1,554. Unfortunately, active cases have also increased by almost 600 from the previous day.
There are now over 21,774 active cases countrywide.
