The National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported 10,173 new Covid-19 cases.
The Institute has also reported 274 more deaths, taking South Africa's Covid-19 death toll to 81,461.
Infections in KwaZulu-Natal stand at 3,017 and 2,320 in the Western Cape.
A total of 56,209 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
