South Africans have been warned of blackouts throughout the festive season.
Eskom COO Jan Oberholzer shared the bad news for South Africans on Tuesday.
According to Oberholzer, they will be considering a number of big repairs and capital improvements in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Eskom's problems have been compounded by the resignation of the utility's interim head of generation, Rhulani Mathebula, with immediate effect.
