Maritzburg sink Celtic in Bloemfontein─── MORGAN PIEK 08:59 Mon, 22 Feb 2016

Maritzburg United recorded just their second victory of the 2015/16 Premier Soccer League as they beat Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 on Sunday.
Pogiso Sanoka scored his first ever goal for Maritzburg after making his debut for the club just last week.
The goal came in the 73rd minute with Sanoka finding the back of the net with a header from a free-kick.
The loss sees Celtic’s record extended to just 1 win in their last 15 league appearances.
Celtic coach, Serame Letsoaka, who is visibly a worried man, conceded that it is a difficult time for the club.
“I must say that again we played a little bit better, it was an improved performance, especially in the beginning stages of the game.
“I think there was also a slump towards the end of the second half.
“Again we picked ourselves up in the second half and the goal was almost a replica of what we conceded in the previous game. Almost in the same area, but this time it was a header from a free-kick.
“We defended badly there. The player was unmarked and got to score the header.
“But’s it’s difficult times for us at the moment.”
Celtic still just manage to hold on to the 12th spot in the standings, while Maritzburg haven't moved off the bottom-of-the-log.
However, Ernst Middendorp's side has closed the gap on AmaTuks to one point as they hunt for the 14th spot in the standings.
Celtic has just 3 league wins over Maritzburg in 20 matches.
Phunya Sele Sele have another tough week in the league when they face Orlando Pirates in Soweto on Saturday.
Some other results over the weekend saw Platinum Stars beating Jomo Cosmos 1-0 and Chippa United beat Free State Stars 2-0.
Kaizer Chief, the Buccaneers, Wits and Ajax Cape Town all won, while Golden Arrows held Mamelodi Sundowns to a goalless draw.
