Kaizer Chiefs lose fan misbehaviour appeal─── 17:57 Fri, 19 Oct 2018
The SA Football Association (Safa) Appeal Committee on Friday dismissed the appeal by Kaizer Chiefs to avoid playing two more matches behind closed doors.
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) Disciplinary Committee handed down the punishment after Chiefs were found guilty of fan misbehaviour during a league match at Moses Mabhida Stadium on April 21.
One of the matches behind closed doors is a suspended punishment for 24 months, as long as Chiefs are not found guilty of a similar offence again in that period.
Chiefs have already played one of the two matches behind closed doors in the Moses Mabhida Stadium against Polokwane City on October 6. Chiefs lost the match 1-0.
