Yesterday was the first of two Spar OFM Carols By Candlelight events in Central South Africa. We spoke to Spar Advertising Manager, Piet Van Vuuren, to find out how it went and what we can expect at the next one. Listen here:
Here are all the details:
• SPAR and OFM proudly present Carols by Candlelight at Xerox Shimla Park at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, this Wednesday!
• Sing along with Kurt Darren, Elvis Blue, Charlize Berg and the Mzansi Youth Choir!
• Food stalls and great kiddies entertainment areas also available.
• The event starts at 19:00.
• Gates open at 16:00 and there will also a movie screening of “Shrek, forever after” before the event at 17:00.
• To enter, bring an unwrapped gift - toys, care packages or stationery appropriate for ages 0 – 18 years old. Donations like tinned food also welcome. The toys and other donations collected will be distributed to children’s charities in the region.
