Ariana Grande‘s latest concert took an emotional turn for her.
The “7 Rings” songstress, broke down in tears throughout her show in her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller’s hometown of Pittsburgh Before she took the stage for her latest “Sweetener” tour stop, Grande had the PPG Paints Arena play Miller’s greatest hits.
Us Weekly reported that the pop star opened with “Raindrops (An Angel Cried),” which is rumored to be about her and Miller’s breakup. While performing, Grande started to cry and couldn’t finish the song. She later became verklempt at the end when she had tossing the late rapper’s name during “Thank U, Next” before fans completed the lyrics for her as she regained her composure.
Miller died in September at the age of 26 from an accidental drug overdose. He had fentanyl and cocaine in his system at the time of his death.
