Well-known to OFM listeners as the journalist with the golden voice, Olebogeng Victoria Motse, or Lebo or Ole for short, was born in the North West capital of Mafikeng, and also raised in a small rural town called Whittlesea in the Eastern Cape, where after she eventually matriculated St Joseph's Christian Brother's College in Bloemfontein.Olebogeng returned to the Eastern Cape, specifically Grahamstown and later Port Elizabeth, to further her studies.Throughout student life, she dabbled with different forms of storytelling before settling on audio as an OFM News journalist, a place she has called home since 2017.With family being of utmost importance, Olebogeng lives with her elderly mother and aunt, who are her support system and best friends.When she’s not chasing stories or behind the mic, Olebogeng likes to listen to podcasts with Serial, Code Switch, Trump inc, the New Yorker Radio Hour, and Black Girl in Om, marked as some of her favourites.
