Adrian Botha's Biography

Born and raised in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, Adrian matriculated from The Settlers High School in 2008 and studied a National Diploma in Journalism at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Be it playing, coaching, spectating or even just talking about it, sport is Adrian’s passion. His journey in the media industry started with pen in hand as a journalist for a local community newspaper in Cape Town. He started surfing the airwaves with local celebrity Soli Philander, on Taxi Radio Online where after he then moved to Stellenbosch University’s MFM 92.6. In 2013 he joined Smile 90.4 FM as a news and sport journalist before 24-hour TV channel ANN7 quickly snapped Adrian up where he became an award winning journalist. In 2016, he joined the OFM family and relocated to Bloemfontein. Adrian lives each day with his life motto, “Positivity Always”.

Join Adrian as the sport anchor on “The Big Breakfast”, weekdays 06:00-09:00 and during “Saturday Sport”, Saturdays, 16:00-19:00.
