South African paralympic athlete, Oscar Pistorius, beat Arab horse Maserati in the 'run like the wind' race in Doha yesterday.
Pistorius beat the horse over 200m, but had a head start of 15 metres.
The race was not the first time athletes have competed against horses. Some of the most notable champions, such as 1936 Olympics hero Jesse Owens, and 1992 Olympic 100m gold medallist Linford Christie have also raced their four-legged friends in the past.
