Pippie Kruger’s mother has rubbished claims that she abused funds from the foundation set up in her daughter’s name and says a pre-audit will prove the allegations are false.
The Pippie se Gesiggie Foundation was set up after the toddler suffered third degree burns to 80 percent of her body after a bottle of fire gel exploded during a family braai on New Year’s Eve in 2011.
She became the first person in Africa to undergo groundbreaking skin graft surgery.
On Monday the Hawks said they had launched an inquiry into allegations that funds in the foundation were being used to finance Anice's lavish lifestyle. However, Anice strongly denies this and said the allegations are as a result of fallout with a friend who has a vendetta against her.
