The crowds flying ANC flags in full regalia have moved from the vicinity of the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court to the park next to the Mangaung Metro Metro Municipality building and City Hall. The group of approximately 3000 people says they are in full support of Magashule and demands that the Judiciary system be impartial towards him. 

The crowd, which includes several National Executive Committee (NEC) members, mayors and councillors are amongst those that have painted Bloemfontein green, black and gold to showcase solidarity towards Magashule.

The case against Magashule and his 15 co-accused has just been adjourned in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court where they are facing charges of corruption relating to the failed asbestos deal worth R255 million.

They stand accused of looting funds that were earmarked to see the assessment, audit and removal of asbestos roofs in the province in 2014 when the housing tender was awarded.

The NPA's national spokesperson, Sipho Ngwema, has previously told the media that more charges might be added against Magashule.
