Three airlifted to Mediclinic Bfn after Colesberg collision─── SABRINA SABRINA 10:14 Sun, 04 Jan 2015
Bloemfontein - Parfitt Avenue in Bloemfontein had to be closed temporarily this morning to allow a helicopter carrying a mother, father and child injured in an accident to land directly outside Casualty at Mediclinic Bloemfontein.
Acting hospital spokesperson Jodri Helmand confirmed the helicopter landed around 9am.
He says it was carrying a family of three who had been injured in an accident on the N1 near Colesberg. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
Helmand says they are still in the process of being admitted.
The child is believed to be about eight years old.
