A massive congratulations to the NCSYO who won the Symphonia National Competition for bands and orchestras in George recently. CEO Nathan Carlo joins Mid-Morning Magic’s Yolanda Maartens in the OFM Art Beat to talk about this achievement.

The Northern Cape Symphony Youth Orchestra was placed first in their category (Symphony Orchestras) as well as first place overall. A magnificent feat considering that this orchestra was only established in January and competed against well-established orchestras and ensembles.

A huge congratulations to the NCSO Artistic Team, Dingaan Chabalala, and Nathan Carlo. To the NCSYO Tutors Tshepo Mosarwe, Sylvester Oliphant, Margot Avis, and orchestra Coordinator, Zoë Carlo without your efforts this would not be possible, thank you. Our gratitude also goes out to our NCSYO Steering Committee led by Rose-Ann Pretorius.
