As part of the Free State Symphony Orchestra Company, the FSYO serves as a feeder orchestra, giving young musicians valuable performance experience while preparing them for potential professional careers.

The orchestra now invites audiences to experience Reflections: Becoming on 17 October, a concert celebrating the growth, development and musical journeys of its young performers.

Conductor Dingaan Chabalala, violinist Jaden Shuping and violinist Olivia Seekoei join Yolanda Maartens on the OFM Art Beat to share more about the concert and the opportunities the FSYO provides to emerging musicians.
