Five suspects who were nabbed by the Hawks' multidisciplinary task team will on Monday 28 September appear in the Kuruman Magistrate's Court in the Northern Cape and Rustenburg Magistrate's Court in the North West respectively.
Their court appearance comes after 13 victims of human trafficking were rescued from two brothels on Sunday 27 September by the Hawks in Rustenburg and in Kuruman.
The Hawks provincial spokesperson, Nomthandazo Mnisi, says the suspects, aged between 30 and 46 years, are all foreign nationals.
She says the victims are from South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Lesotho.
Three of the suspects is expected to appear in the Kuruman Magistrate's Court, while two will appear in the Rustenburg Magistrate's Court.
