Murder accused Linda Van den Heever has appeared in the Welkom Magistrate Court for killing of her husband.
This follow the fatal shooting of advocate Andre Van den Heever who was shot and was declared dead at the scene on Tuesday. His estranged ex-wife was subsequently arrested at a flat at Hennenman later on the same day of the fatal shooting.

Linda van den Heever appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday, where she faces charges of murder and possession of unlicensed firearm. The case was postponed to 22 December 2021 for her medical evaluation.
She remains in custody until her next appearance.
