#Centlec requests emergency meeting with officials─── KEKELETSO MOSEBETSI 08:20 Thu, 03 Feb 2022
Centlec has requested an emergency meeting with officials of the Zastron-based Mohokahare Local Municipality in the Free State, following allegations of poor service delivery due to dilapidated infrastructure.
OFM News reported that the Mohokahare Municipality accused Centlec of not having permanent solutions to the ongoing power failures in Zastron - ostensibly due to faulty cables. Centlec spokesperson, Lele Mamatu, said that the claim was unfortunate and they will follow the right processes to meet and engage with officials of the municipality on the issues at hand.
"We are confident that once we are able to meet with the Municipal Manager, we shall be able to find each other and ensure that a sustainable solution to the challenges of service delivery - as expressed in the public statement of the mayor - are found and resolved," said Mamatu.
