Road between Trompsburg and Springfontein closed due to accident─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 13:35 Sun, 29 May 2022
The N1 between Trompsburg and Springfontein in the Free State remains closed as officials are still busy recovering bodies following an accident involving two trucks.
The provincial Emergency Medical Services spokesperson, Sipho Towa, tells OFM News that they have so far discovered three bodies after the two trucks caught fire.

He explained traffic is being diverted at the Trompsburg off-ramp and Springfontein Engen garage to the gravel road linking the two towns.
He is at the moment unable to say when the road will be opened.
