NC education intensify efforts to improve Grade 12 results─── KEKELETSO MOSEBETSI 12:30 Sun, 03 Jul 2022
The MEC of the Department of Education in the Northern Cape is hopeful for positive results following the commencement of winter classes for Grade 12 learners last week.
MEC Zolile Monakali visited the Saul Damon High School in the ZF Mgcawu district where the school winter programme is currently underway.
Monakali said the department has assigned curriculum advisers to develop resources and materials that will assist learners. He said that the department has deployed experienced teachers and curriculum advisers in hopes of improving Grade 12 results this year.

Monakali concluded that the support and assistance rendered to learners will achieve desired outcomes on specific subjects.
Meanwhile, North West MEC, Mmaphefo Matsemela, had said that winter camps have proven to assist learners to understand the content better as they also rehearse previous question papers to improve their year-end performance.
