The Chevrolet Knights will be targeting a bonus point win today when they face the Warriors in their Momentum-One Day Cup clash today.
The Knights need to win today’s match in Kimberley if they are to stand any chance of reaching the top three in the tournament, while they will be relying heavily on favours as well.
Sunday’s washed out match in Pietermaritzburg has put the Knights in a position where they need both the Dolphins and Lions to lose their two remaining matches.
Captain Werner Coetsee told OFM Sport that his chargers are confident after a good bowling display had the Dolphins against the ropes at 45 for five on Sunday before the heavens opened up.
He added that will be paying extra attention to controlling the last 10 over period during their innings with the ball.
Today’s match at the Diamond Oval in Kimberley gets underway at 15:00.
