“In a state of mind, obviously there are a bit nerves for the game. It will be our first semi-final and as a team. But I think the feeling is no different I guess from any game that we've encountered within the World Cup.”
The Proteas captain, Temba Bavuma, is confident that he will be fit and available to play in Thursday’s big ICC Cricket World Cup semi-final against Australia in Kolkata.
Bavuma has been nursing a hamstring strain he sustained on Friday against Afghanistan.
The skipper has been training with the team, and although his form at the World Cup has been in question, he is considered to be an important cog in the wheel.
Bavuma confirmed that a final decision on his availability will be made on later on Wednesday
“Physically I feel alright, but obviously not 100%,” said the skipper.
“So this day becomes important in terms of decision about tomorrow, but I'm quite confident, but I mean, it's not a unilateral decision that will be made.

Thursday’s semi-final at Eden Gardens is scheduled to start at 10:30.
