Planning, scheduling, and preparing for the year as Mrs South Africa 2025 are part of the recently crowned queen’s plans.

The dream to wear the Mrs South Africa crown is attainable to anyone motivated to reach for it, said Mrs South Africa 2025 Erin-Jane Miller.

Three women from Gauteng were crowned at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park as first and second princesses at the crowning ceremony on Friday (15/11).

The pageant for married women teaches women how to be the best version of themselves, how to be a voice of change, and how to show up as the strong, influential women they are. “I am not a pageant girl I decided to enter Mrs SA because the pageant offered a platform for women to find their voice.”

“When I was crowned I felt mixed emotions I guess of gratitude and overwhelming deep reflection on really what the moment meant for me,” said Miller.

“As I stood there I thought of every person who had come alongside my journey and supported me and I knew that this win was for all of us, it was a dream we had worked on for an entire year.”

The strategy for what we want to do is clear because we know exactly what we want to do, now it’s just to make sure we can mobilise organizations, people, and resources for the work in the new year, she said.

First princess Tshiamo Githinji (30) from Sandton and second princess Lisa Gittins (25) from Pretoria were crowned alongside Miller.

Miller’s focus during her time of reign will be on youth development, as it is something that she has been passionate about for many years and practicing since 2008.

“The journey has been absolutely incredible I’ve experienced so much growth as a woman, a business owner, and a leader. It has given me so much more confidence to just stand up and use my voice to speak about the issues that are important to me.”
