A 35-year-old South African scuba instructor, who is running 2 700km to raise awareness for African Penguins is making good progress.
Dave Chamberlain is currently running next to the Naukluft Namib National Park and say the heat is his only problem so far.
He started running in Walvis Bay on 18 October and hopes to reach Port Elizabeth on 28 January.
Chamberlain told OFM News this morning that heat exhaustion is the biggest danger.
The African Penguin is one of only two seabirds that breeds along our coastline that is listed as globally Endangered by BirdLife International.
