Bloemfontein - Residents of Bainsvlei outside Bloemfontein made a shocking discovery this morning when they came across an exposed foot at a local cemetery.
A resident who lives across from the small cemetery, Johan Niewenhuys, says a group of children were playing soccer nearby when they saw the foot, clad in a sock and shoe, protruding from the ground.
Police spokesperson Annelie Wrensch however says upon closer investigation they discovered that it was a prosthetic leg that had been dumped into a hole. Niewenhuys says the discovery was frightening.
