Bloemfontein - Craig Thiem, the man who alerted the Free State education department and the Human Rights Commission to alleged racial abuses at Wilgehof Primary School in Bloemfontein, is to appear in court today for theft.
Free State police spokesperson Chaka Marope says Thiem left a large retail store in the city with groceries he hadn't paid for.
He appeared in court last week and was released on a warning.
In June this year Thiem laid a complaint against Leonard MacKay, alleging he racially abused a pupil and had an old South African flag on his classroom wall, among other things.
