Bloemfontein - The 44 Parachute Regiment held its annual remembrance day wreath-laying ceremony and parade at Tempe Military Base outside Bloemfontein this morning.
OFM's Sabrina Dean reports that among those honoured were the 15 soldiers who died in the Central African Republic (CAR) in March.
Families and loved ones of the 15 soldiers killed at the Battle of Bengui in the CAR earlier this year lay wreaths in memory of their fallen heroes during the annual 44 Parachute Regiment Remembrance Day ceremony. A guard of honour was held.
