Ladybrand - A farm owner accused of attempted murder for allegedly shooting and wounding a teenager will appear in the Ladybrand Magistrate's Court again today.
Motlalentoa Alfred Makoae (53), who is out on R1 500 bail, owns a farm that borders Lesotho.
Free State police Martin Xuma said on October 28, Makoae allegedly saw five youths, aged between 13 and 15, hunting on his farm.
Xuma said Makoae shouted at the boys to leave his property.
While chasing the boys away he allegedly fired three shots in their direction.
A 15-year-old was struck in the back.
Both the teenager and Makoae are from Lesotho.
