No parliament, no democracy: Metsing─── OWEN KOCK 12:12 Wed, 25 Feb 2015
Bloemfontein - The day Lesotho’s Prime Minister Tom Thabane suspended parliament, he suspended democracy.
This, according to the country’s Lesotho Congress for Democracy’s leader, Mothejoa Metsing.
He was speaking ahead of this weekend’s election in his country, saying his party wants to make sure democracy triumphs over all.
Metsing thanked South Africa’s Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa for his intervention, and said he hopes democracy will be restored, as voters cast their ballots, free and fair.
