Fauresmith - The final horse is home and race organisers are tallying up the times ahead of the official announcement of the winners in the annual Fauresmith 200 national endurance championship.
About 350 horses set off on the gruelling three day ride on Tuesday. Junior rider Anne van Deventer from KwaZulu-Natal finished third in her category on her mother's horse Shakespeare. She describes her emotions as she entered the home stretch.
Sonia Ardill from Australia completed the ride on the borrowed horse General. OFM News chatted to her just as she finished.
The final results will be announced during an award ceremony this evening.
