Rosendal residents warned about water shortages─── REFILWE GAESWE 12:40 Thu, 05 Nov 2015
Rosendal - Dihlabeng municipality, comprising Bethlehem, Clarens and Paul Roux has warned Rosendal residents to use water sparingly.
According to the municipal spokesperson, Tshediso Maitse, Rosendal is experiencing serious water shortages.
The warning comes after Water and Sanitation Minister Nomvula Mokonyane announced on Sunday that the country is facing a severe water crisis. Mokonyane said her department might have to reduce water supply if the drought affecting large parts of the country continues.
Maitse says the municipality will introduce water restrictions if the situation gets worse.
