Potchefstroom - Four people were injured when a car and an SUV collided on the R53 about 35km from Potchefstroom on Saturday afternoon, North West paramedics said.
ER24 paramedics and provincial services arrived on the scene and found an SUV on its side on the side of the road while the car was parked some distance away, ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring, said.
On assessment, paramedics found that four people had been injured. Paramedics treated the patients and they were transported by provincial services to a nearby hospital for further treatment, Meiring said.
