Mother sentenced for death of her three children─── 18:14 Wed, 01 Feb 2017
Bloemfontein - A 33-year-old mother, Puleng Gwadi, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison of which six were suspended.
She was arrested in July 2015 and charged with culpable homicide. Gwadi left her three kids aged 10 months, 4 and 8 years, inside her shack in Botshabelo and went to a night vigil nearby.
She came back the following morning and found her shack burnt down. A protracted investigation found that Gwadi was cross with her husband for separating from her and purposefully left a burning candle in the shack - so doing hoping to revenge his leaving her with the three kids.
