Botshabelo - The Free State Provincial Police Commissioner Lebeoana Tsumane is this morning expected to give a key note address at the burial of one of the police officers who was killed while on duty at a Community Service Centre in Koffiefontein.

He will be joined by the Department of Police, Roads and Transport MEC, Sam Mashinini.

Constable David Manjo will be laid to rest at his home town in Botshabelo today, while 32-year-old Obert Mekoa’s funeral service was held yesterday at the Uniting Reformed Church in Koffiefontein.

Both provincial heads of the police have expressed shock at the killing of police officers and continues to appeal to the public to come forward with information that might help the police on this matter.

Mashinini told OFM News that the department is convinced that they will be able to apprehend the perpetrators with the assistance of the community members.

Manjo's funeral will be held at the Samson Sefuthi Community Hall in Section N, Botshabelo.
