The shooting incident at Preller Square in Bloemfontein is now being investigated as a targeted hit, and not a murder/robbery incident, as was initially recorded.
A senior police official confirmed to OFM News that Louis Siemens, managing director of the day hospital at the shopping complex, CityMed, was killed in cold blood. While one man has been arrested, OFM News received unconfirmed reports that another man was detained shortly before midnight at a house in the city.
According to the police official, who spoke to OFM News at the scene yesterday late afternoon, CCTV shows two men entering the lift with Siemens, and once they exit in the basement parking he was shot.
Further details surrounding the incident are unknown at this stage.
